CPS believes that it is not enough to provide customers with analytical tools to measure performance. Equally important is working with them to understand the concepts behind the tools and how to interpret and use the information the tools provide. Each organization’s needs are different and CPS' interaction with customers takes many forms. Please contact CPS and allow us to demonstrate how we can help you.

CPS' analytical tools include:
- the International Quality Indicator Project (IQIP), a performance measurement and quality improvement system for acute, psychiatric, and long term care hospitals with hundreds of performance measures combining data collection software, reporting, and analysis tools, including statistical process control
- the Adverse Event Reporting Tool (AER Tool), developed to collect key aspects of structures, processes, and outcomes of care that have direct implications to safety of care.
- the Clinical Assignments for Healthcare Students (CAHS), a comprehensive web-based tool for schools and hospitals to effectively manage clinical placements
- an indicator-based risk-management and organization performance improvement system
- utilization and financial performance reports for hospitals including statewide and national databases
- a web-based software application based on state hospital discharge data and produce user-defined comparative reports on market share, physician utilization, payor-mix, charges, length of stay, and more, to assist with planning, quality improvement, and competitive positioning
- an adverse event and incident reporting and management system for hospitals and long term care facilities
- the MEDSAFE Patient Safety Project is an assessment of hospitals' key processes regarding the safe use of medications and the context within which those processes take place. The MEDSAFE Project uses the Institute for Safe Medication Practices’ (ISMP) Medication Safety Self Assessment® survey, an organizational self-assessment tool. Analysis includes customized comparative reports that highlight areas with the greatest opportunity for improvement
